Grab a hardhat and join Liz Trumbull (Director of Preservation, Facilities, and Trade Programs) for an exclusive tour of Cellblock 14. Uncover the history of this space and learn about current and future efforts to preserve it.
Opened in 1927, Cellblock 14 segregated young and first-time prisoners from the rest of the prison population. It was also the location of infamous underground punishment cells. Today, Cellblock 14 is one of the final cellblocks at the historic site in need of extensive preservation work.
