Families... finished your Eastern State scavenger hunt? Keep learning with a Family Field Trip! Dive deeper into the penitentiary's complex yet fascinating history and make meaningful connections to prisons and criminal justice reform today. 

This is a family-friendly, drop-in program that takes place in the Dialogue Space — located next to the Prisons Today exhibit by the penitentiary's historic baseball field. Stop by any time between 12:00 pm and 2:30 pm to chat with our one of our engaging educators and participate in a fun hands-on craft or activity.

Family Field Trips are open to all, but are designed with children ages 8-13 and their caregivers in mind. Family Field Trips are included with standard admission to the historic site, subject to availability. Daytime tour tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the door.
