Membership

As a member, you and your family will enjoy a full year of activities, special events, and unlimited access to the Historic Site during public hours. As an initial supporter of our membership program, you have the satisfaction of knowing you are among the first to support the preservation efforts at the Penitentiary in these crucial early years.

There Are Four Ways To Order Memberships

  1. You can order online now.
  2. You can order over the phone by calling (215) 236-5111 x24.
  3. You can print a membership form (see below) and fax it with your credit card information to (215) 236-5289.
  4. You can print a membership form (see below) and mail it with your check, money order, or credit card information to the historic site offices:

All Members Receive:

  1. Free admission to the site and to all daytime public events for one year (member must be present with photo ID).
  2. Priority registration for the semi-annual “Behind the Scenes” tours.
  3. Free use of an “Equipment Pass” while on site (e.g. tripod, easel).
  4. Eligibility to enter the Members’ Photo Contest (held each October).
  5. Passes to Terror Behind the Walls, our annual Halloween event (selected nights).+

 




Membership cardFirst-time Members also get a free T-shirt! Renewing Members receive a renewal gift.

+ Memberships purchased on or after September 1, 2012 will receive Terror Behind the Walls passes for 2013. The tax-deductibility of each membership increases by $27 for every Terror Behind the Walls pass that is not redeemed.

 

Individual Membership


$50.00 ($23 tax-deductible) All of the benefits listed above for one (1) individual (member with photo ID must be present). Includes one (1) Terror Behind the Walls Member Pass.

Supporting Membership


$250.00 ($122 tax-deductible)
These dues will help open up the Operating Room.

Sustaining Membership


$500.00 ($308 tax-deductible)
These dues will help open up the Operating Room.

All passes for Terror Behind the Walls are good for either adults or children (ages 7+). Passes are valid on selected 2012 show nights. Details to be posted soon.
