Your evening begins with an hour-long, guided flashlight walking tour of the penitentiary. Highlights include the cellblocks, Death Row, Al Capone’s cell, and the underground punishment cells. Following the tour, you will be escorted to the front of the Terror Behind the Walls lines and experience all six haunted attractions. Remember your evening with a souvenir photo of your group and a Terror Behind the Walls LED flashlight (included in ticket price).

The ultimate Halloween experience! When you arrive at your reserved parking space, located directly in front of the penitentiary, you’ll be greeted by one of our expert tour guides, who will be your own personal “ghost host” for the evening. You’ll begin with a “Behind the Scenes” tour of the penitentiary complex, exploring some rarely seen spaces. Following the tour, you will be escorted to the entrance of Terror Behind the Walls, where you will go through all six haunted attractions ALONE! Assuming you make it through the show, we’ll take you once again “Behind the Scenes.” See our costume and makeup departments, and meet the masterminds behind the Terror. Finally, you’ll enjoy a 3-course gourmet dinner at Jack’s Firehouse, located directly across the street from the penitentiary.

friends out! Twinks and treats! Gals and ghouls a’ plenty!
After surviving TBTW, dance the night away inside the penitentiary at the LGBT Mischief Night Bash. Admission to the party is free with your Terror Behind the Walls ticket purchase. Drinks will be available for a small donation. All attendees must be 21 or older and present a valid photo ID upon entry. Proceeds will directly support the ongoing preservation of Eastern State Penitentiary, a National Historic Landmark.
