August 4, 2020, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Remembering Reem: Working for Criminal Justice Reform from Inside the Walls and Out

Free. Live-streamed on Facebook and via Zoom webinar.

The criminal justice and museum fields lost a giant when our co-worker Reem Cotton passed away in April 2020. Hear from a panel of his friends and colleagues working in museums, education, and reentry about the influence Reem had on their work and how we can make his vision for a more equitable and just world a reality.

This event is part of Eastern State's ongoing Searchlight Series of events addressing issues in contemporary corrections. The Searchlight Series discussions take place the first Tuesday of every month, free and open to the public. No reservations required. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this discussion will take place virtually via Zoom webinar.
