Meet 2020 artists Patrick Cabry and Ann Reichlin via Zoom to learn more about what it’s like to create site-specific art for the penitentiary. Have you ever wondered what inspires artists to install work here? Or are you curious about what their artistic process entails? This is your chance to ask these questions and more. Join Senior Vice President, Director of Interpretation Sean Kelley, Patrick, and Ann for a Q&A about the process of applying for funding, creating art, and installing it at Eastern State.
Plus, Patrick will draw portraits of three members in attendance while live on the Zoom call! These sketches will become part of his installation, and you'll receive a PDF of your portrait at the end of the event.
