Due to their inability to post cash bail, some may even face unemployment, seizure of property, and loss of parental rights—all before the courts determine their guilt or innocence.

Staff from the Philadelphia Bail Fund will lead an enlightening discussion on the practice of cash bail in Philadelphia, its pressure on low-income citizens, and their work to mitigate its impact by raising and posting bail for Philadelphians.
