CHARACTERS FROM SEASONS PAST
Our most popular characters return for one night only
As you walk through Terror Behind the Walls this Saturday, keep an eye out for some of our most famous characters from previous seasons. They are returning for one show night only! A few of them are highlighted below.
"Knuckles" by Amy Hollaman
Amy began working at Terror Behind the Walls in 2005 as a Line Beast for 13 Rooms. She filled several acting and management positions over the years, and in 2010, she won the Actress of the Year Award for her character "Knuckles." Amy now spends her days working as a specialist in Eastern State's marketing and development departments. She spends her nights at Terror Behind the Walls as the Employee Services Director, supervising a staff of more than 250 employees.
"The Doctor" by Doug Bailey
Doug started his career at TBTW in 2001 as the dentist in the medical ward attraction. He filled several acting and management positions, including that of "The Doctor," before joining TBTW's tech team fulltime in 2004. Doug revisits his "Doctor" character from time to time for special events and good clean (unnerving) fun. This is one of the most talked about and anticipated characters from the past two decades. It even had its own limited edition pint glass!
"The Warden" by Jabbar Wright
Jabbar began working at Terror Behind the Walls in 2003 as "The Chef" (pictured left) in 13 Rooms. He filled several acting positions from 2003 to 2008, including that of "The Warden" (not pictured), and is pleased to be back to help celebrate this milestone by reprising that role. Jabbar is a local actor - he was recently in a Philadelphia production of RENT - and tour guide regularly seen throughout Historic Philadelphia.
HAUNTED HOUSE OWNERS & OPERATORS
Meet the movers & shakers in the haunted attractions industry
In the merchandise area, we'll have haunted house owners and operators from around the world, as well as paranormal celebrities Kris Williams and Aaron Sagers. Stop by after your tour of TBTW for autographs, photos, and firsthand accounts of paranormal activity at Eastern State (included in admission)! The schedule is below.
From 7:00 to 10:00, you can also meet Ghost Hunters International co-lead investigator Kris Williams and ParanormalPopCulture.com's Aaron Sagers. Hear about the firsthand experiences they've had with real ghosts inside the penitentiary complex.
SERIOUS ABOUT GHOSTS?
Join Kris Williams and Aaron Sagers for an exclusive weekend event
Join Ghost Hunters International co-lead investigator Kris Williams and ParanormalPopCulture.com's Aaron Sagers for a private paranormal investigation of Eastern State Penitentiary and a tour of Terror Behind the Walls. Aaron has investigated ESP more than a dozen times with teams from Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, Psychic Kids, Haunted Collector, and Fact or Faked and has appeared at the prison as a celebrity guest judge on Paranormal Challenge.
You will be able to join Kris and Aaron for two nights of ghost hunting in groups no larger than 10 people on Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12. You'll spend two nights exploring some of ESP's hottest paranormal spots, including Cellblocks 4 and 12, Death Row, and the underground punishment cells beneath Cellblock 14. This is an extremely limited event and is the first of its kind at Eastern State Penitentiary.
Tickets for this exclusive event are $200/person (plus taxes) and include admission for the 20th Anniversary Encore night of Terror Behind the Walls. Hotel accommodations not included.
